BSGAR 2016 in Birmingham was a huge success. Thanks to all who attended, organised, sponsored and contributed.
BSGAR 2017 will be held on Wednesday February 1st - Friday February 3rd at The Mermaid Theatre, Blackfriars, London. Yes, London! Our annual meeting has not been to London before so please make an early note of the date in your diary. Dr Andrew Plumb from UCH will be the local Meeting President, and the BSGAR Committee will be working on the programme over the next few weeks, having considered your comments from BSGAR 2016.
At the recent AGM I called for expressions of interest for hosting BSGAR 2018, and we have already had interest. Further interest would be welcome via email ([email protected], [email protected]), as our meeting has become limited by venue size. Whilst this is a measure of our success we need as many options as possible.
Finally, I would like to thank Dr Ashley Guthrie and the other outgoing members of the BSGAR Committee (Dr Andrew Thrower, Dr Stuart Williams, Dr James Stephenson) for their excellent work over the last few years, and to welcome new colleagues onto the committee (Dr Julian Elford, Dr Sara Upponi). There will be further vacancies coming up over the next 12 months so please keep an eye on the BSGAR forum.
