The BSGAR is delighted to welcome Liz Jones as the Society’s new Administrator. Liz is a former Army Officer who specialised in training and development. She commanded the Army Education Centre in Edinburgh, which delivered a range of courses and educational services for c. 7500 officers, soldiers and dependents in Scotland. In addition to her Army training Liz has obtained an MSC, with distinction, in Occupational Psychology. Now with a young family, Liz is keen to continue to use her considerable organizational and administrative skills in a more flexible working environment for our Society. I have no doubt that Liz will prove to be a great asset for BSGAR, and I hope that all BSGAR members will join me in extending a very warm welcome to Liz. On behalf of BSGAR I would like to thank the outgoing administrator, Lavinia Gittings, for all her hard work for our Society over the past 8 years.
