The British Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (BSGAR) present: An online Learning Programme - 1st Tuesday of the month 2026/27 for Core Radiology Residents (ST 1-3).  A BSGAR delivered, NHSE funded, GI entry level national series of lectures. All UK SpRs can access live during academy sessions and view recordings post event.

BSGAR is delighted to collaborate with NHSE for the benefit of our Resident doctors. BSGAR will deliver 10 half day sessions, each comprising 4 topics, delivered virtually. Sessions will be delivered on the first Tuesday of each month from September 2025 to July 2026 (please note slight amendments to accommodate bank holidays and the BSGAR annual meeting).

Sessions will be delivered via Zoom and share anonymized imaging cases using the cloud-based software, Pacsbin.  Attendees will be asked to register once on zoom for the programme and automated reminders with available case links for each session will be sent thereafter.

It is anticipated that Academies will offer these AM sessions locally, with trainees attending an appropriate communal venue. If Academies wish to deliver this learning virtually, the links provided can be distributed to individual trainees.  If Academies/Hospitals cannot release trainees for the sessions then recordings will be available on an open page of the BSGAR website.

It is suggested that academies may wish to deliver more specific local training in the associated PM session that elaborate and develop themes covered.  Click here for CYCLE 4 26/27 programme.  *Please note all Cycle 3 dates and material will be removed from the website in early August 2026 to allow preparation for Cycle 4 starting in September 2026.
