Event Date 25th to 25th Sep 2026

Click here for more info   HPB oncology has emerged as a distinct subspecialty in recent years, with notable developments in both clinical practice and research. The field is rapidly evolving, particularly in areas such as pancreatic and hepatobiliary cancers, and there is now a clear need to consolidate knowledge, share best practice, and shape future direction.

This education day running alongside the liver SABR workshop will explore the latest advances in the management of hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) cancers. It is primarily designed for clinical oncologist and senior trainees but would also be of interest to the wider multidisciplinary team as well as medical oncologists and palliative care teams.

The day will include expert talks on the management of pancreatic cancer with specific focus on the evolving role of SABR and radiotherapy in supportive care. Dedicated sessions will also cover radiology for pancreas radiotherapy planning and emerging systemic approaches.

The day will bring together leading experts to discuss the latest developments in the management of hepatobiliary cancers. Through multidisciplinary panel discussion, the programme will highlight the current best practice in locoregional management of HCC and the latest data for the role of radiotherapy for HB cancers.
