BSGAR are delighted to announce the delivery of a 1-day, LIVE Emergency Abdominal Imaging Workshops on Monday 13th September from 10:00-17:00hrs at the Holiday Inn in Leicester.
This will be the 3rd iteration of the workshop which we first delivered in 2018. The workshop will cover ischaemia, intestinal obstruction, peritonitis, perforation, haemorrhage, acute pancreatitis, the post-operative abdomen and abdominal pain in the pregnant patient. Each session will have a short didactic lecture followed by facilitated case review designed to highlight key concepts and findings to aide reporting acute abdominal imaging. The sessions are relaxed with expert faculty interacting with delegates with plenty of opportunity for discussion and Q&A.

The programme is aimed at any radiologist or trainee who reports acute abdominal imaging in their day-to-day role or on call.
Registration will be from 09:30, with the course starting sharp at 10:00, finishing around 17:00, with short breaks for coffee and lunch.
Coffee and pastries on arrival, with a hot lunch, followed by tea/coffee in the afternoon. Please tell us of any dietary requirements on the registration form.

Currently we are limiting each iMac to one delegate. This will be reviewed in line with Covid-19 rules, if allowed and safe to do so, we will increase this to two delegates per iMac as we find interaction with a colleague beneficial when reviewing the cases.
All rules in relation to social distancing and mask wearing will be reviewed and communicated a few days before the event.
There will be a full refund if there is a national lockdown related to Covid-19 or a national advise advising against travel to Leicester.
Full refunds (less PayPal charges) will be provided if the course place is cancelled (for non-covid reasons) by Friday 13th August. After this date a refund will be provided if a replacement can be found.
On completion of the workshop, delegates will be invited to complete a feedback form and will receive a certificate, with 6 CPD points.
