14th Annual Surgery of the Foregut Symposium

Event Date 14th to 18th Feb 2015

This symposium will provide surgeons and other health care professionals a wide range of information related to new and well established topics in gastrointestinal surgery.  Attendees will become familiar with surgical aspects of conventional, laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic surgery of the foregut.  In addition, you will acquire in-depth information related to the diagnosis and management of disease processes of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, liver, and biliary tree.  The program will review complex case scenarios and complications after foregut procedures.  Abdominal wall hernias, fistulas and the use of the vacuum assisted closure (VAC) will be presented.  Attendees will have the opportunity to analyze the management of complications including anastomotic leak and enterocutaneous fistulas and, review complex techniques utilized by experts for conversions, revisions, and reversals of bariatric procedures.
